my ctb is spontaneously kicking in...so any ideas on what i can do? Jumping or mutilation is not an option for meIt sounds painful with water in your lungs...plus you'd probably fail because of survival instinct.... there are other reliable methods
I read the opposite - but I also wonder how the authors could possibly know. You can hardly ask the dead.I read somewhere that breathing in water is so painful it's like your lungs are on fire. But I wouldn't know for certain...

What I specifically read is the same thing as in gas chambers - don't try to hold your breath, just take a big breath, and apparently then euphoria kicks in and you're delirious anyway.
This uncertainty is killing me. (ha. ha. ha.....)
Sailors were told if they knew they were going to drown to take one big deep breath of water and it would all be overI read the opposite - but I also wonder how the authors could possibly know. You can hardly ask the dead.

Its painfulthe same conflicting info exists for hanging... some say it's a blissful or peaceful experience, take for example full hanging: some report the seconds they are in full suspension to be euphoric and blissful, while others say it was excruciatingly painful... ughh what to believe? are we really that different to experience things so drastically differently?
What if instead of water I fill the tub with wine, maybe it would feel less painfulTaking enough pills to pass out and having a bag taped around your head would be a better method. I almost drowned when I was younger and it's terrifying
Oof. It does soud painful if you were to do this sober. However, getting drunk to the point of passing out in the water might prove differently. I might even end up doing it myself if the conditions are right haha. Nonethless, I think there are better ways to achieve peace, but again, the choice is yours.Breathing out and going in the tub face down and breathing in water till I pass out instead of air ? Since wine contains ethanol, it would be far more painful. What if instead of water I fill the tub with wine, maybe it would feel less painful
Everybody have own choice. But the drowning scares me.I am thinking to take lot of xanax (around 12 mg) then swim as far as I can in the ocean and let me drown to death. What do you think about that?
