I can imagine that having taken Meto then N, the next few minutes / hours would be the worst...time to reflect and maybe regret what is going to happen. A possible improvement imo would be to set up a self IV injection of N (enough to create almost instantaneous sleep) and inject this about the same time as the N is drunk (just after, to be absolutely sure). Would this not then take away that awful wait for the lethal dose ingested by stomach to be removed by deep sleep?
Sounds good to me, but I am not an expert. Anyone want to comment?

In theory that could work, but I don't think most people have the skills required to set up a IV properly. Especially in a heightened state of anxiety from just consuming N.

But if you think you can pull it off then go for it. I'd make sure to consume enough N orally to do the job. That way if you can't get the IV set up in time it won't really matter.

I absolutely get what you're saying though. The thoughts and anxiety that would come rushing into your head while waiting for N to kick in would be really intense. I understand wanting to bypass that part.

Well the only method that doesn't involve any waiting is gunshot to the brainstem lol. Waiting is part of almost every method (from inert gas to jumping) so you may want to reconsider ctbing in general if you are afraid you will regret your choices within like five minutes of consuming N lol. Not to mention you will be inebriated and quite euphoric from all of that N for part of it.

N is a short-acting barbiturate. It doesn't exactly have the instantaneous general anesthesia induction like sodium thiopental (an ultra-short acting barbiturate) and propofol due to its lower lipid solubility. Induction is delayed further through an IV drip rather than a bolus. For example, at clinics who use IV N on a drip (the patient clicks a button when they are ready for the infusion), it takes up to 30 seconds for unconsciousness to occur so "instant sleep" in your plan shouldn't be an expectation.

To be blunt: this plan is overkill and full of potential complications

organizations like dignitas make you drink it, they dont set up an IV. although it's probably because according to the law it might constitute murder then, idk. in either case with N you're out in minutes once you consume it
