Worried about the law and my family

I'm planning to ctb soon, with N I got from A.

I'm just worried about any legal trouble there might be for my family after I am gone. What if the authorities think my family helped me get the A or something like that?

Does anyone know what kind of checks or processes the authorities in the UK do if someone does ctb?

I'm old and sick, and my wishes have been known for a long time. Are they likely to investigate in any way?

I'm not sure about the legal issue in the UK but they shouldn't have consequences. I think the best way is to write it down in a letter. In my case, I would leave a scheduled email to the police apart from the note for the family.
At the time I read a little about the police actions in my country in case of suicide. The fact that there is a note helps to clarify suicide and therefore there is less "mess" because it requires less investigation.
