• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone know of any cases or precedents where someone has ctb via nothing more than to '''will" themselves to death? I'm assuming it has happened in concentration camps and gulags, but as a method of suicide in the modern world under normal everyday conditions?

No, but I think it's a sort of Sod's Law type of thing that the people who most want to live and enjoy their lives are killed in freak accidents eg death by a frozen bat falling from the sky whereas those who would like to be dead and want their death to be an accident to spare their loved ones any pain don't stand a cat's chance in hell of this happening

Sometimes i get paranoid while hearing my own heartbeat because i might overthink it and give myself a heart attack and get some kind of brain damage. Obviously this is stupid but im so psychosomatic, so many things in this fucky body have gone wrong seemingly just from thoughts and feelings. Whenever ive gotten really depressed my immune system just crashes and i get all kinds of infections. Im so anxious, i grind my teeth so hard at night my jaw has completely shifted and teeth are all fucked and it fucks with the rest of my body/brain. I cant think clearly , i cant function properly. I look a decade or two older than i am. Ive thought so long about death, this body is killing me , my teeth are killing me. I absolutely think you can think yourself to death. Its just very very slow.

I don't know, man... There are these crazy Tibet monks that control every aspect of their body. Heart beat rate, core temperature, blood pressure... Pretty sure one of them can. Lol

So, so true. It seems like people who want to live get hit by drunk drivers, randomly get a blood infection and die in their sleep, fall down the stairs and die, randomly go into cardiac arrest due to a genetic condition, etc. Then those of us who want to die... you better do it on your own, otherwise you'll live a long life. Oh, and you might just be unlucky enough to have someone snitch on you if they hear a thump from your hotel room, now you'll be saved. Heck, some people try a new drug, have a bad reaction, and die. If there is a God, he's an asshole.

There is broken heart syndrome and you can sometimes will yourself die if you are in really bad physical health. (Very old or going to die soon etc) In extremely rare cases where people do not move, eat or drink they can die as fast a few days-if they were otherwise healthy-Ofcourse it's extremely unpleasant without these severe disorders.

A broken heart can actually kill you from heart attacks etc. Ofcourse it's only usually happens when you are really old. Which is why many old people will die right after their partner dies.
