• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I wrote in an earlier post that I took a vow not to ctb until both my parents were dead. The last one died in 2017. I have no children, spouse, romantic partner, or realistic prospect of finding one. My only sibling lives in another state and has her own family. I have very few friends. I have a reliable method. I am "good to go".

Will I ctb in 2022? Totally depends on what trauma might come my way.

Good luck - however you choose to act. I'm in a similar position to you

What's kept you going this long? You said your vow was to wait until your parents passed, but that was four years ago.

What's kept you from CTB this whole time, and why isn't it working anymore?

I suppose it's just never gotten quite "that bad". But as I intimated, a major trauma could change that in a moment.

I can understand that. Even on my best of days, I still feel like I'm little more than a house of cards that'll tumble over from a stiff breeze.

On my worst of days, I'm that same house but begging for that breeze to come.

At least having a reliable way to exit means you have a way to leave this world at a time of your own choosing. One of the worst parts for me about this life, is that things can easily get much worse and make living absolutely unbearable. This life is terrifying. Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

Thank you. And I wish you well.
