am curious to know why we are here?

Because this is a subject that i can't be open about with the few people that i know outside of the internet, and having the opportunity to not only share, but talk to people that are also struggling with these feelings is soothing in a way.

to be honest i already knew about methods before joining this forum, there's enough information about them outside of here, but in no other place will you find such community that is willing to hear you without judgement and pro life bullshit shoved down your throat.
this is truly liberating and i'm glad i'm here.

well there are many disillusioned people here; and disillusionment usually implies a greater degree of accuracy in ones perception of reality. there seem to be more sane people here than I can find on average when I leave the house (who believe that everything is running just smoothly, the world is a great place to be happy about, etc etc). So normalizing, as a political act in itself, to vent, discuss methods and to distract.

Well,lately I been enter in SS to see around because my manic suicide phase passed along time ago... I own SN and sometimes I take a microdose to sleep ...

I first stumbled upon this site when I was researching my method. One day I decided to create an account and engage in conversation because I wanted to dare myself to put in writing some of my thoughts about suicide, anti-natalism and suffering.

It was all a bet actually - a bet against my conformist self.

My reasons are:
1. I'm here initially for information on CTB methods (and yes fuck off directed towards the pro-lifers/anti-choicers)
2. Venting about life and how shitty the world is since I don't have anywhere else I could do so without gaslighting, backlash, judgment, and other consequences.
3. I'd like to social a bit with like-minded people and those that can relate or at least willing to listen.
4. I do enjoy philosophical discussions about life and death, including hypothetical scenarios.
5. Finally, with my intellect and knowledge, I am hoping to pass the torch on so that when I CTB (which is inevitable), others will carry on where I left off and perhaps someday, we will see more places that legalize or at least decriminalize assisted suicide, voluntary euthanasia, and respect the freedom of choice between life or death.
