Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Why aren't we able to just stop existing whenever we wanted, and make it so that we don't leave grieving loved ones behind? In my ideal world, we can press a switch or something to erase ourselves from all existence, including the memories people have of me.

I wish for that all the time. Fuck if I have an answer tho. Lately my focus has been less on ctb and more on going missing.

I suppose it's because we are taught to mourn the dead. Kind of weird really. When you consider religion's with afterlives are so prevalent. You'd think we'd celebrate people dying and going on to paradise. Surely, if we really loved them, we'd be happy for them. That tends to make me wonder if, even the truly religious believe that whole heartedly. Obviously, we'd still miss them here but, don't they also believe they'll get to see them again?

I sometimes wonder if it's different for cultures who do actually embrace and accept death. Do they really feel no sadness? Must be quite a liberating way to live to truly not fear death or mourn.

We mourn because we have lost, but feel relief that they are in the afterlife

I understand as I just want to erase my existence as well, I wish there's the option to just choose to never suffer ever again, I just want all to be gone and forgotten for me like I never suffered at all.

WIth death it is inevitable, or with age or accident... when it comes to ctb i think people feel more guilt than loss .aybe because they think that they never knew the person aswell i they thought they did or that they didnt see any signs or behaviour leading up to the the bus ride.. and there lays the guilt... there is probably a good lump of anger aswell towards us in a way.... they would feel that we never really trusted them with our true and honest thoughts and feelings... which is totally accurate with me ... ive been honest with one person outside of this community ... and im nor locked up ...YET..

hose not to keep my intentions secret. It gave my loved ones a few years to get used to the idea and help if they wanted. I feel like it will lessen the grief. And the "why didn't you call?".

It can lift a bit of weight the shoulders .. being opwn about things .. but it can also be difficult to find the right time, tbe right way to approach the subject is tough.. but deciding who to trust can be hard.. but i think it can make tbings easier for all in the long run...
