Earliet life appeared about 3.7 billion years ago. It's an incomprehensible amount of time. That's billions of years of nature perfecting whatever is necessary for species survival. That anyone can break out of it is incredible . The species wouldn't be alive if a significant amount of us were programmed to be able to just off ourselves under stressful times. It must be survival, survival, survival. If you're a coward, then we all are.

It is understandable, it is the damn survival instinct that wants to have us here even though we no longer want to / cannot be. I think that when the time is right for each one, you have to laugh in the face of SI.
