Why SN over lethal cardiac drugs?

I've noticed in the short time I've been here that SN seems to be a preferred method for a peaceful exit based on the discussion I've seen. At the same time there seem to be some notable downsides like really unpleasant nausea, headaches, and severe anxiety a lot of users have reported.

Meanwhile there are no guides and very few posts about the cardiac drugs referenced in the PPH which all seem to be a significantly better option on paper. Is the issue a lack of research/data on the effects or difficulty in sourcing the components for the cardiac drug protocol? Any insight would be helpful as this is definitely the method I've been leaning towards.

This. And it seems that SN is starting to share such fate, mainly due to its increased popularity. Any drug potent enough to be worth mentioning, is prescription drug. To obtain such chemicals you'd need trusted medic, willing to risk their career and/or their freedom for you, since assisting in suicide, especially for medical personnel, is penalized in may parts of the world. Simple "oh, i don't feel good, i got heartache, please give me heaviest stuff" won't get you there.

SN on the other hand "WAS" basically OTC chemical, freely available for many different uses - from meat curing and rust protection to various chemical experiments. "WAS". because its increased popularity as suicide method earned it unhealthy media coverage and government attention, to a point where in some parts of the world, people ordering or trying to order it on line are persecuted and harassed by health care and law enforcement representatives.
