Why isn’t there a Euthanasia petition for the mentally ill on that popular website the White House responds to?

Why are they so desperate? With overpopulation and wars over water looming ahead, it seems like euthanasia is a solution.

They need to adopt a more nuanced perspective on life and when it is vs is not worthwhile. Many still cling to tired traditions because that's the easiest thing to do or whatever, I don't even know.

I think the only thing that might help is continued discussion to try and convince people that suicide =/= evil.

We are the minority here. They don't believe depressed people should have a right to quit life, therefore they won't even discuss it. Just pivot to mental health "care" instead.

The word "euthanasia" alongside "mentally ill" will go absolutely nowhere, and anyone who signs it will be called a nazi or some other despicable name. I don't agree with that reaction, but it's reality.

However, if it was approached the way Canada did it, there might be a chance - giving mentally ill people the same right to Death with Dignity (in legal states) as anyone else. But it would need to be opened up to everyone in that case, or at least people with chronic conditions and not just terminal — including mental illness.

What's the fixation with the depressed? There's worse problems like ptsd. Whenever someone talks about suicide in the media or in passing, they say the person was depressed. Well, yeah probably but I doubt that was their only problem.

Make a petition about celebrity bullshit, get countless signatures, and then reword it to make it about euthanasia lol that would be funny
