why is the site so damn laggy?

Hi,

I would like to notify whoever's in charge that the sites been super slow and barely usable on mobile and desktop, especially in chat, which keeps freezing. Also the pictures are broken.

is it an attack or?

I figure it is run on a shoe string so I don't like to complain. It is buggy, but I don't pay for it so I can't gripe. The picture thing is annoying; in the last week or so noticed that. I posted a thread in the Suggestions forum, but it got deleted with no comment. I just try to be thankful this place exists in the first place.

It's not laggy at all for me except in private messages. Maybe it could be your internet, browser, or device?

I haven't experienced any problems. I am on my mobile. I don't use the chat, though, so I can't say if it works or not.
