Because society are programmed to think life is the be all and end all. You must be ill if you want to die! So they take away any easy or peaceful methods for anyone to leave. Life is like a prison sentence for some but they don't care.
I've crossed the line now and just wonder why anyone would want to live in this corrupt evil sick world!
