Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

One of my cousin's has high-functioning autism in his 20s and was actually rediagnosed with ASPD (and small change of psychopathy though they are different disorders). When he told some of his friends, they thought that he was an attention-seeker.

I've heard in real life and on the internet of people believing that anyone with ASPD or psychopathy must be edgy or an attention seeker compared to other mental disorders/illnesses. Why is that?

Most people are likely too dumb/ill informed to realise it's a spectrum like everything else, so they likely think you're a potential serial killer or something. I've never heard of psychopathy being called edgy though, but saying you're anti-social is considered so I think because people just see moody angsty teens as being the classic anti-social types and maybe associate it with that.

It's always chic to act like you are above it all, and psychopaths are above it all in the biggest way. Unburdened by empathy, they can step on people without hesitation. I find it disgusting, but plenty of people who love and admire power glorify psychopathic traits.

Watch yourself with that cousin. I wouldn't trust such a person further than I could throw them. It is interesting that he admits to it though. It makes me question the legitimacy of the diagnosis since manipulativeness is a key feature.
