@CFLoser Well it IS a case here now, but i need to defend the community as a whole, cuz people i met here had helped me physically and immensely, i have some strong 'connections' here lol. Not everyone is fake, some are but it is just cost of participating in such community. Everyone loves to take part. I can't blame them for doing so. Sometimes even false hope and care are better than none at all. But i also agree it sucks and some members are better to just stay silent.

Honestly? I will be 100% honest and i will spill the beans. My message was for people here who have plenty and it was directed to them only. I know some. My whole message was unspecified on purpose. It was for rich kids here who could help others, but they only desire attention and they don't look for us in any way. This is fake af for to me. This is all i want to say. People who asked for money were quickly stigmatized, u can search for it. And in some way they who do that are hypocrites to me. They seeking help, but denied it to others.

Giving someone money is no guarantee that they'll get better, there's a reason a lot of people who win the lotto end up struggling financially. I have no use for my money at this point but I'd rather it go to people I know and trust than give it to a rando who might have created an account here just to prey on vulnerable people.

I get your point but I don't think this is a place where people should ask for money. Rich people can be suicidal too. Many had cbt in the past. If they want to give somone money they are going to do it but not here. There are special websites for that. Btw, most rich people don't like giving their money away. I don't think to fit in your definition but for sure I have enough. But since I started considering leaving life and my family I'm concerned about how the loss of my income will affect them in the future.
I sent money on regular basis to ONG but now I'm just freezed.
I feel I can only help people around me, afraid of scam and full of guilty 'cause I'm the main breadwinner.

I think the idea of someone rich and suicidal giving someone money who is suicidal purely because of their financial situation (yes, those people exist, even when money cAnT SoLvE pRoBlEmS) is actually a very nice idea.
There could be a "SS fund" people can donate to and others could apply to have money given to them (or something like this - as not to be doxed/scammed)

I feel like such a dick saying this, but I've given people money in the past only to realize I was being taken advantage of. I am now so hesitant to give money. I wish I wasn't though. I don't have much money anyway though, I am not rich and I don't have regular employment.
