• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Why do people call emergency services for SN? Is it because they are in a lot of discomfort and pain?

Probably, there is also the possibility that they got anxious and came to regret it; therefore call the medical services to ask for help and someone to save them from the choice they just made.

Yes, this seems quite likely. SN and poisons in general give you some time after doing the act to consider, compared to eg jumping.

It may be really bad nausea possibly combined with throwing up- once you know you probably don't have enough to ctb you may just want to stop the really bad nausea, or maybe the nausea itself if just too much to deal with.

I would guess that you have time to think and reconsider your actions after taking sn… long enough to be able to reach a phone.
My question is wether or not all of those who reconsidered and called emergency services were able to be saved.
