Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would go backward and then turn around midfall. Then Id spin around and strip down to occupy myself.

Turn around midfall? How much time do you think you have while you're falling down? Mere seconds, not to mention the fact that you'd be too terrified to even think of that.

I feel like something about falling backwards is even more scary. When you fall forwards I think you feel more in control, you see where you're going to go and what's going to happen. And I feel like you overestimate your ability to move around in the air. You're a sack of meat and bones, not a bird.

People who jump out of planes swirl around.

Falling backwards would make your brain feel less afraid. Jumping into the void head first would be terrifying

It must be that you will fall from a very tall height if it takes that much time.
A plane usually flies thousands of feet above the ground, It's incomparable to jumping from a building.

But when people jump out of planes it's controlled. They know what they are doing, they know how to move, and importantly they have time to make movements. I don't think it's feasible to jump and do a full 180 half way while accelerating and having your body and mind screaming

Imagine jumping, moving mid air, somehow accidentally landing on your legs and surviving? No thank you.

Landing on your legs if you jump from hundreds of feet still leads to death
