Discussion Why do humans intentionally make life far more difficult than it needs to be?

Taxes, bills, credit score? What the fuck even is a credit score, but last I checked scoring is meant for games and this one clearly fucking sucks for the vast majority of people on it! So much bloat that is pointless and just adds to the already crushing weight of being alive in general. Nightmare, nighhtmare, fucking nightmare each day everyday with zero break inbetween, and you had better pray to fucking christ that it doesn't taint its way into your sleep or you'll be really fucked then. I'm so sick of it all I just want to be left alone and I am dreading fucking dreading! Going into work tomorrow and having to have those fake conversations, the same old shit again and again and hear people talk about more asinine shit again and again I can't take it anymore it's fucking insanity and I want out

It's a very unfair system that relies on people being given the right support or mentoring during early years. What humans have done with life is quite perverse. Sometimes the best thing is to minimise involvement and seek as much solitude as possible. Hope you feel better soon.

I was thinking that graduating from a certain national Uni in my country doesn't necessarily make you intelligent. It just gives you stamina and a high tolerance for bullshit. It's conditioning you for you your next bullshit job under ridiculous conditions and shithead managers instead of actually teaching you to think.

Humans are inefficient.

Humans also do a lot of gatekeeping and put artificial barriers. There are many several reasons and mostly for elitism. Everywhere in life there are artificial barriers that makes things hard and difficult. Here are some examples, Schools doesn't need to be hard and filled with rubbish. Languages are left undeveloped or keeping nonsensical elements like Kanji in Japanese language. Music and musical instruments are artificially hard because of gatekeeping systems and not allowing the process of making easier instruments.
And of course this applies to communities and everything, they want to make things look hard or badass for show-off

Also they increase negativity to increase competition then increasing reproduction as a result

I feel you. Credit score is a curse from hell on humanity. Tax law is ludicrously complicated.

Small talk is something I've learned to appreciate though. People just want a little reassurance you're okay that they're existing next to you. They can't dig deep but a little back and forth about the weather or bonding over sports makes that connection.

Many people derive pleasure and confidence from the feeling of superiority that comes from conquering objectives that were made needlessly difficult. Talk to anyone who prefers to drive stick shift or compete in Super Smash Bros Melee for just a few examples. There are easier versions of those things out there yet many who prefer those options would rather get high off the fact that what they do is more difficult meaning they're clearly better than the rest of us.

It's the same for society imo. Things like taxes and accounting are made difficult on purpose just so that the people being paid to deal with those can keep their jobs and feel secure in the fact that the rest of the population can't be bothered to study whatever they know.

I do not even know the answer to the question, I do not understand people in general, they can make our lives so much worse, they can be very selfish and cruel. Life is just meaningless suffering and it is just a pointless experience that we go through for the sake of it. All of the pain in this world is so unnecessary. To me, it is depressing that life is even a thing in the first place.

It's so a small amount of people can be considered at the top of society's hierarchy while others are forced to the bottom due to the aritifical barriers opposed on them by those who have created the system to benefit themselves only. It's about power.
