Lately, however, I've been considering the possibility that the chicken was crossing the road in the hopes of being hit by oncoming traffic, thereby leaving this mortal realm and being transported to the "Other Side"( the Afterlife).

What are your thoughts?

Don't personally believe. But who knows? I can't exactly trust my own mind these days, so...
