Why are people against euthanasia for humans whenever they are in deep suffering, but when for animals are in deep suffering people support it.

People help animals in some cases, when it is right in front of them. But this is limited, because what animals go through in the food industry is worst than even most terrible human lives. I admit that I am part of the problem, since I used to be vegan and i was not able to stick to it. SO a small percentage of animals are really cared for but most are abused very badly.

Involuntary euthanasia, aka people being pushed/guilt tripped into doing it, and just murder in general (crazy doctors and relatives)
If death gets normalized in society, people will eventually force who they perceive to be useless to "voluntarily" kill themselves for economical gains
It's one of those very good things with some very bad side effects if you know what I'm saying
Human beings are known for not liking human beings that don't make money,
if I'm 80 someone could just be like "you've lived enough, time to go to sleep grandpa"
Disabled people that are a burden to society/their family will also probably be pushed/manipulated into "voluntary euthanasia"
It's just how the world works (Sorry to break it to you, but society is a scary place full of predators)
That's the sense of it.
Animals are more like assets/property than self-determined entities (legally speaking)
People that have pets are called owners, they're not called "friends" of cats/dogs whatever.
The word owner implies a master-slave type of relationship, the cat being the object/slave
Murdering a cat that possibly wanted to live isn't a big deal (legally speaking. It's not what I personally think)
since nobody cares about animals anyway (you eat them every week)

euthanasia available for everyone at a time of your choosing of course thats the kind of world i want to live in no more forced existance for the sake of existing no more suffering cause everyone can choose to leave whenever life becomes to painful maybe set of a mass exodus

Because accepting euthanasia would shatter their delusion that life is always worth living. If society allowed everyone the option of a peaceful exit, then people would begin to see living as pointless if people could exit so easily and this would mean that the society would lose their workers. Many people see suicide as being something wrong and something to be prevented as they are not suicidal themselves and they could never understand and out of selfishness they would not want to lose their family members so they would never accept suicide as an option for anyone.
Euthanasia should be a human right, to me it is cruel and horrible how the society tries to force us to live when we do not want to be here.

Yes I agree if should be a human right, I do not think it would be a mass exodus atall, many are not suffering, but for hose who are and are in sane mind should br given a choice without judgement

God only knows. Sadism? The self serving arrogant notion that human life is somehow sacred while other species are not? Fear of death projected onto others? Idk, I only know it sucks
We/the society are NOT yet come into the age of reason, we're still in the dark age. It's one of the reason I don't like this life and wanna CTB so badly.
As for the slippery slope argument, murders happen everyday with or without euthanasia; but without assisted suicide, all suicide ended with lonely suicide.
Animal euthanasia doesn't affect the ECONOMY .
Legalizing human euthanasia would GREATLY affect the economy.
And the last 2 years of a persons life is when the medical cash cow makes a killing on them.

If people supported euthanasia, the narcissistic people wouldn't have any ability to be painted as a savior because they forced someone into treatment. If people supported euthanasia, our lovely number of taxpayers would begin to dwindle and that would anger our government. If people supported euthanasia, for profit mental health facilities would lose many patients that they get to financially exploit, and suicidal patients make hospitals a LOT of money.
There are so many reasons why society is against it, and most of those reasons aren't because they truly "love and care" about you.

Because they think humans aren't as replaceable. Selfish reasons that I still don't understand.
Maybe they think we have a better chance of working out our pain lol
Beacuse allowing it makes it so that life has no value (it never had inherent value but it has been artificially inflated to justify living) so if life doesnt have value why believe in god when he doesnt add value to our lives, why follow rules why live.
Its a matter of self preservation, we live in an uncaring universe and we had to do mental gymnastics to justify our continued existence and allowing euthanasia for humans is in some way admiting that life has no meaning and even worse if you believe in god you admit that religion was a sham to justify our existence.
Maybe envy and jealousy. People really like to see others suffer. It's called Schadenfreude. They don't get the same pleasure from seeing animal suffer.
I agree, people value human life higher than animals. But on their own terms. When there is no value anymore to the person who wants euthanasia, other people impose the "value" on life for them.
I also believe euthanasia should be a human right, as well as comfort, peace, dignity and non-suffering (at the bare minimum).
