Why an alien doesn't take me away?

Why an alien doesn't come and take me away from this world? :(
Maybe next life I will born in another world of thr universe where people are really better.. :(

When I was a teenager (the era of early X-Files) I wished aliens would come and take me away from this world. Wanted to be anywhere but where I was.

You have to think about it from the aliens' point of view. What can you offer them that 8 billion other humans can't?

Besides if they wanted anyone for entertainment value I wouldn't want to be taken because I would imagine life as a zoo animal is even more aggravating than what I already suffer now.

Sadly I don't think aliens will ever come.
Either their planet is too far away, they have no interest in us or
just like us they destroyed their habitat too early to be able to build spaceships that would endure a flight that long.

But as a child I really hoped to get in contact with some as well and to learn from them or just experience something exciting for once.
