Who has tried hanging?

Who has tried to hang? Did you try to kick a chair or were your feet or knees on the ground? My SI got in my way when standing. Got super dizzy then I would just stand up. I wonder if I'd be able to kick a chair.

Sat with my back to door. Latched around door chain. Legs straight out.

Passed out convulging twice from a belt both snapped.. Scared to try with anything stronger nowadays.

I tie a swing hitch knot to a pull up bar and use a Slipknot so it's sturdy but my SI doesn't let me so far.

I tried it a few years ago. Put a scarf around my neck and kicked away a chair. But it didn't really work. Just got a bit dizzy. Then somehow I managed to get on the chair again and stopped the attempt. Had a face for a couple of days. Probably I'll try again soon

I did before, think thats what made me stop my suicide attempt. Wonder if theres a way to prevent that?

Ya I was spaced out for like 10 seconds wen I got up. Was wierd

I tried tying a rope in my closet, but I didn't kick the chair i put beside. I started the process but I suddenly realize that the last thing I would see in my life was a fuck empty white wall... so I gave up
next time I intend hanging myself in a park or a forest, I dont know yet...

I attempted to hang myself once. Halfway through my attempt I heard a loud voice call out to me.
The voice said, "Hang in there, son! It'll get better."
Obviously, I knew this was a play on words and I started laughing. He started laughing too. We both just laughed and laughed.

Unfortunately, a nurse in the ward heard me laughing and caught me trying to hang myself.
I was labeled high risk and I didn't have many chances to try it again. I had a pretty bad rope burn around my neck too.

I still wonder sometimes... Was that God speaking to me? I guess I'll never know. But that sick bastard sure is funny.

Yeah but I fucked up tying the end of the rope to the doorknob so it got unraveled shortly after I kicked the chair and I freaked out too much to try again with it.

There was also an attempt with a belt a friend of mine stopped but I'm not sure if it would've worked. All I know is that after it I temporarily lost feeling in my lower extremities and had a really shitty headache.

If you kick the chair far enough. You will be dead. Even though you will be suffering. But still you will die. Let's just say the chair saved you

I got unconscious. I had the rope really tight around my neck looking up and tightening the knot. I didn't realize it was happening. I woke up on the ground dazed and so scared. It snapped. It seems to be above the Adams apple and tightening it so we can still breathe but being distracted.

Was anyone still able to breathe before passing out? How long did it take? Have a feeling I didn't do something right.
