• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know it's selfish but the idea of everything going back to normality when I can barely function is killing me.

With you on that. It's like my inability to function was hidden by everyone being in a similar situation but now it's really going to be glaringly obvious to everyone and not just me

Don't worry I'm sure we'll have Covid-20, 21, 22, and so on to look forward to.

Yeah exactly. Strangely gave me comfort knowing everyone had to be limited. It's not that I don't want people to enjoy themselves or get back living life. It just makes it feel even more isolating and lonely when you know everyone is Out and about. And every time I try to venture out or even pretend I'm okay, it just reinforces how I'm not!

Lockdown didn't really change my life that much but now those of us that would rather not be around people or outdoors are made to feel guilty. I don't mean a cookout with a few friends but large groups of people or gatherings isn't for me.

Well... If people continue to do stupid shit. What am I thinking... Of course they are going to do stupid shit.

Yeah exactly, you're judged now for not participating even if deep down you want to. Just alienates you further

I'm glad it's over. I like not having to wear a mask, and going to restaurants, and not having to worry about the virus. It's especially nice that restrictions are over since I don't have a car.

But with variants I will soon limit activities and wear a mask again.

I think the lockdown suited me as I like to isolate myself from other people. While the lockdown did not change my life that much as I mostly avoided others before it, I dread having to see extended family members again as that is exhausting for me.

Yeah I can completely relate to that. There's no an expectation everyone needs to see eachother even if it wasn't so before. What makes it exhausting for you if you don't mind me asking? Keeping up appearances?

I just do not enjoy having to see extended family members, they talk about boring things and I am an introvert so socialising in any way is exhausting to me.

I am mostly indifferent about this. Where I live not many people were following the guidelines in the first place, so lifting any lockdowns will not change the climate much. The only thing that I missed about being in the (full) lockdown was that I could not go outside except for necessities - avoiding nasty people was made much easier then.
