Does anyone know if there are patrols further along the coast in Kent. I know they have very active chaplains by beachy head but wondered if closer to Dover had them too. Thanks
I've walked along the cliffs from the national trust White Cliffs visitor center and didn't see any chaplains or anything to do with suicide prevention. It was very busy with general tourists though and this was a weekend morning. Perhaps things are different at night. I'm not sure which specific parts of the headland there would be a suitable height like Beachy Head though.
Thanks so much. There are places that reach 300ft so enough to ctb. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. When I go I don't want to be looking over my shoulder for do gooders trying to get me sectioned
I'd do a preliminary trip just to make sure, it is a very busy area and they might do more suicide prevention stuff there at "off peak" times.
Take care anyway

Maybe try taking something like a dog lead with you ? If you see anyone you feel may be a self appointed "Beach Patrol" or something of that type you could even approach them and ask if they've seen your small dog which ran off.
Dog lead & poop bags aren't really the type of items readily associated with jumpers.
