I just need to listen to sth and I can't seem to find decent podcasts anymore, so does anyone have any suggestions? I'm literally open to anything, though I especially like everything related to history. I also really like all podcasts which feature John Kiriakou for some reason, it's just so entertaining to listen to his stories

My favorite podcast of all time is called The Right to No Longer Exist. It's on youtube if you want the link so I could get it for you. It's a Right to Die podcast.

I've been listening to a D&D podcast called Tales From the Stinky Dragon! It's a lot of fun

Adeptus Ridiculous on YouTube. Explaining WH40K in a very fun and comprehensive way.

I am miles behind on both of these, but my favorites are Jim Cornette's wrestling podcast (even though he's a polarizing guy), and an actual-play RPG podcast called the Glass Cannon. They started with Pathfinder 1e but have branched out into a ton of systems over the years.

I used to listen to a horror podcast called No Sleep, but they fell off years ago in my opinion. A lot of retired wrestlers have podcasts that I catch clips of, but a lot of them upload very inconsistently. I'm blanking on a lot of others.

science podcasts:
-the rest is science: very random discussions about all kinds of things in science, and it has two hosts so its interesting to hear them talk back and forth
-hidden brain: mostly focused on science involving how people think. its really interesting.
-science vs: science connected usually to things happening in the world

fiction podcasts
-camp here and there: a story about a nurse who is also in charge of camp announcements at a camp that is haunted by monsters and strange occurances

other:
-dear hank and john: hank and john green answering intersting questions from veiwers about sceince or just random things
-ear biscuits: rhett and link talking about random subjects
-strangers on a bench: i've barely listened to this one actually, but the host, tom rosenthal has other stuff i like

if i had to reccomend just one above the others it would be camp here and there or rest is science.

If you haven't already listened to them, I recommend 12 Byzantine Rulers and/or Norman Centuries by Lars Brownworth. I also really like The History of English Podcast, although it may be a bit dry for most people's taste.

Troy seems like a legit asshole, but I love GCP. I recently got to Time for Chaos (I'm about a year behind) and it's so good!

Your recommendations all sound like things I would like; thank you.

I agree that Troy seems like a legitimate asshole, but as someone who GMs exactly like him (but in a less linear manner because I don't have to create episodic content), I find it refreshing that he doesn't pull his punches as glaringly as most other actual-play GMs. I'm willing to believe he fudges very few die rolls.
