I remember reading that SN requires anti-nausea drugs, to prevent vomiting the SN up and out, and thus failing to CTB. The names I remember reading sounded like prescription drugs, which are difficult to obtain. Are there any mainstream over-the-counter anti-nausea drugs I can use instead? I'd rather buy those---in small quantities, from multiple pharmacies, paid with cash---to avoid raising suspicion. Pharmacies are essential businesses, so they're open in all but the strictest lockdowns.

I plan to supplement SN with Bacardi 151 or Everclear, along with a mega-dose of Benadryl, as a multi-pronged attack. Please let me know how these drugs will interact with the alcohol as well.

I found this old thread of mine. Hopefully someone can answer it for me. The lockdowns in my state are coming back. Plus, Biden won, and he wants to implement a 100-day mask and social distancing law. (Which, knowing him, will easily become permanent, or at least until 2024.)

So I'm revisiting the idea of CTB'ing. Probably with SN. In which case, I'll need anti-nausea drugs, and I prefer OTC.

I bought sodium nitrite from two different companies. I opened the one container to weigh out how many teaspoons equals 25 grams on my digital scale. 25 grams came out to be only three teaspoons!! I have two digital scales and I measured it on my second scale to make sure the first scale was accurate. Both scales said the same thing that 25 grams of sodium nitrite is only three teaspoons?? I can't see only 3 teaspoons of this being lethal?? That is such a small amount! Can somebody let me know how many teaspoons equals 25 grams? Thanks very much.

1 teaspoon is 4.2 grams. 25 / 4.2 = 5.95. So, 25 grams equals to about 6 teaspoons.

Most commercial SN comes in large canisters, since the manufacturers expect you to use it to preserve meat, not CTB. So a single package is more than enough for the "typical use".

Are all teaspoons 4.2 grams? I've heard people say that they vary in size. My apologies if this is a stupid question.

Worked in a pharmacy. Powders have different weights depending on what the product is. Example: weigh out a tsp. of sugar, and separately weigh out a tsp. of salt. That is why scales exist...to give the true weight. Cyanide requires even less for death. The toxicity is important, and you would be wise to follow what is said on the scale.

OTC anti-emetics will not work.

You might try googling the interactions.

Were you using measuring spoons or regular spoon? What country are you in?
