Where is the Search Feature? (Can't find it)

Hi there! I was wondering if there is a search feature? I have changed the style of the forum a couple of times and still there is no trace of a search feature here.

Unfortunately does not appear in that location or anywhere else. Is there a link to the search feature I could use instead?
This is what is looks like for me.

The duckduckgo and google search methods (site:sanctionedsuicide.com) for when the site is down, does not work for me either.

How do you make the search feature appear if it's not there?

Hahahhaahahhahaahhaahaahhahahahahhagagahahgahahahahahahhagahhahahhaah...I tried looking for it for like a week and thought I was going crazy because I saw it one day and couldn't find it the next time I wanted to search. I thought that it would look silly to ask.l, but I guess I'm not the only one who couldn't find it. In my case, one day it just was back without seemingly changing anything. That being said, the search button for me only seems to work when the chrome browser on my phone to "desktop site". Give that a try or maybe visit the site on a computer instead of phone?

Hi, I'm new here and I also can't find this mysterious search feature. I am going to try the chrome browser and use desktop site!
Edit: that didn't work either, anyone else had this problem?

Works fine for me on my desktop using Mozilla. Not sure about my phone or with Google chrome.

your search and pm functions will appear automatically when the account is older and/or you've written some more posts. you're welcome.

I think you need to write like 5 replies/posts before you can search & DM. The number may be more than 5.

@EndoftheRoad4, you're currently only at 3. @colour_me_dead, you're currently only at 1. (As of when I post this.)

I think this issue is listed in the rules one reads when joining.

The search appeared for me I think a week or so after I made my account. I can't remember.
Was not keeping track of the post.
Apparently, it disappears again after disuse...then reappears after more posts (and reactions?)

It works when I use my laptop, but can't use it on my phone, even though I see the magnifying glass symbol.

Now I understand why you don't have the search button yet. Your account is too new, so you have to have more activity on the forum to unlock the search bar. Just post more comments around here and it will unlock soon

I like the default style I was given when I joined. I'm very reluctant to change it even though the search function no longer works. Maybe when they release the new theme for next year, I might use it.

I also had great difficulty finding account settings to change my theme after changing it. I had to go back arrow to get to the old theme. My default theme is perfectly fine except for the broken search function (which worked at one point)

Update: Based on the responses of others in this thread, it appears it is a matter of posting and/or replying a few times before the search option becomes available. Sounds promising.
