Generally, I need about 8 feet of drop distance for my neck to snap, but I don't have an idea of where to drop. I've considered trees but I'm not sure if the branches would hold. While I'm at it, what kind of rope would hold my weight plus the force of the fall? And is it a 8 foot drop from where my neck is or from my feet down?
