When was the first time you thought about death? Was it from a book? Or an experience? Or from a conversation?

Not necessarily suicide, but death (or mortality I guess) in general.

i was 7 years old and my great-grandmother had just passed away and i thought to myself 'I wonder where she went'

That's the first time death really hit me.

I was about 9. I would cry myself to sleep and beg God to take my life instead of another little girl's, whose parents didn't want her to die.

I was 17 and dealing with an ass ripping depression, was suicidal af and eventually made a serious attempt tear later. A few years ago I was engaged to a sociopathic s.o.b and ended up nearly getting killed by meds...have been violently suicidal ever since. I honestly cannot explain why I am still alive
