in my opinion it's not such a black and white thing, depends on the situation and your relationship with a person and the definition of steal. Sorry but I don't make a habit of stealing, but the few times I have I don't really think it was something absolutely deplorable.
Another example is homeless people who have no choice but to "steal" food from bins or even stores. If someone is able to steal a meal from a grocery store that is shitting on poor people every day then more power to them imho.

Don't feel bad most corporations have done scummy things and stolen things anyway. it's a dog eat dog world and when you're at the point of wanting to kill yourself I think being hung up on something you stole is not worth it.
I felt guilty for a very long time about stuff I'd mindlessly stolen in the past but kind of got over it now, money and items are being exchanged all over the world every single day between billions of people. Things just happen. There's really no point feeling bad or even judging people based on stealing a bag of sweets or some shit. Morality is manmade, even though there are some things that really are fucked up and wrong, it's just a personal opinion not an absolute truth. Stealing is nothing in the grand scheme of things, if nobody ever noticed that item was gone but somebody else got some good use out of it, does it even count as stealing?

Same like you, in 2006 during the war here the nearby supermarket closed temporarly, so we went there playing around and we found out that the premium icecream refrigerators are not locked, so we begab stealing a few everyday.I do not like to steal, in fact I never do it, but when I was a kid I went to a kiosk where they had the magazines on the street, I remember stealing a pornographic magazine.
It was very small, maybe ... 10 years, I'm not proud sincerely.A decade ago, I stole a relative's credit card and bought something like $200 worth of microtransactions. They got their money back and I was banned. Justice. Haven't stolen anything since. It's a funny story, looking back. I borrowed nail polish without permission...I guess because it's a consumable that counts as stealing.
In all honesty though, the person it belongs to really wouldn't have been bothered.

When I was in the 8th grade someone stole this one teachers stuffed animal that she had on her desk... And the person(s) who stole it was taking polaroid's of the stuffed animal tied up in a chair and demanding ransom money for it lol The teacher actually got the police involved... don't know if they ever caught the person or persons lol or if the teacher ever got it back. lol

My exfiancé's heart. Couldn't give back what she deserved, so I left her so she could have a better life...I stole a few books from my teacher back in fourth or fifth grade. I intended to return them but never did
