Do you learn more from being a member. As opposed to just reading the pph.
Any advantages?
Anything you find lacking?

If you buy the book, you can join the forum after a month.

If you bought the membership, they first send a package to your house (I have no idea what in there, I guess some information)
In addition you're getting:
Exit Individual Membership provides:

  • Free Exit Workshops
  • Exit Online Discussion Forums (on approval)
  • Exit Chapters (local meetings)
  • Exit R&D results
  • Deliverance Newsletter (published quarterly)
  • Discounts on publications
  • Exit Membership pack, badge, card (please allow approx. 3-4 weeks processing)

In both of them you need to 50 years old, and they ask ID photo.
If you want to join the forum you need a selfie with your ID.

It's very annoying, but that's what they decided

It's my understanding, based on the last time I looked at the website a few months ago, that one has to be over 50 and prove it, or have a terminal illness and prove it. Am I incorrect about that?

Edit: But I think the OP was wanting to know what the experience of being a member is like. I'm curious about that, too.

Yes.

I think the only thing that worth in the membership is the forum.
I know that 2 members here said they in the exit forum, but I don't remember who

Has to be a significant illnesses and it is possible to be under 50, but they do enquire and decide on an individual basis. If you're interested in Pegasos you can apply with your Exit I membership instead of paying 100 euros for a Pegasos membership, as they are both closely linked. I believe you get a membership pack with the usual paper and glossy leaflets and a small badge, plus access to forums etc. But you have to apply for that separately with proof, ID, and I believe you have to be a member of Exit I to go on the PP forums. I think they leave you alone after you've joined.
