I often tell myself this: a day that has passed is a doble victory, because it is one less day that I will have to suffer and it is also one more day that I managed to survive, double victory.
Most of the reflections I have on walks are about how much I appreciate the nature around me. It's one of the only times where I can just exist and be grateful. Recently almost all my time has been spent thinking about catching the bus though. My walks havent been as peaceful.
How annoying the walk is and how I want to be at home or in a cafe lol.
I used to greatly enjoy and be compulsed to walk everyday when I lived in rural England, the Lake District to be precise. It used to be how I de-stressed. Not anymore though. Walking is very enviroment-dependent.
