What location will you choose

I'm trying to settle on a location if I were to end up using SN for my plan. I'd like to hear what you are considering, or experiences you've been aware of.

A hotel has a lot to recommend it because of the privacy, as well as the fact it's not at all personal. Anyone have any insights?

Home is simple. But I'd have to more carefully wait for the house to be empty. And someone would then live with the death location.

I really wish outdoors was an option but I've been convinced it isn't

What are others considering

1) How long will I be undisturbed by hotel staff. If I check in for two nights and ask not to have room made up, will they send someone in the next day? Or will they just wait until I don't check out?

2) I would like to protect the room, perhaps bringing a plastic sheet or drop cloth. Has anyone thought about this?

Check in with luggage. They know that hotels are popular locations and often are looking for this

If you can check in in a different city even better

If check into your own city have an excuse ready for you in a hotel where you live say something like they are painting the house you can't take the odour
