How bad would the brain damage be?
I kind of tried/practiced partial with a scarf but it just made my head throb and my neck hurt. I'm supposed to CTB in 6 days btw so I need to know how I can hang properly from a doorknob.

I've heard that the damage can be quite serious but not always. I'm really scared of it.

And leaving the damage aside, if you fail, your life will be hell for sometime because you might end up in a psych ward or monitored 24/7.

At least that's what happened to me. I was a prisoner in my parents house for 6 months and my other option was to be sent to a psych ward. It sucked but I'm finally free.

It could be between zero (no damage) and 100% (death) or anywhere in between.

Impossible to say because there are too many variables at play.

As per Matt, I couldn't do it because of the uncertainty.

That's tough Matt, I've never considered partial, with my history of failure the consequences are too dire for me. I don't have family where I live so any care would be on my wife.

Please be careful before considering this, maybe don't put a hard limit on the time Mors.

From a doorknob? That sounds like a tough way to do it. I don't know that the doorknob wouldn't break.
