I've read cases on reddit of people recovering from years of anhedonia through dmt, which is legal to buy and extract from bark and the experience lasts just a few minutes

love them!!! i've done LSD probably 6 times since i was 18? and 2cb twice which just felt like acid to me, i find when i've been in shitty relationships with someone it gives me a better objective view of the person/situation, i'm not lying to myself, i see things for how they are, of course i already know these things deep down but just cope and lie to myself.
playing FNAF on acid whilst on the phone to a friend got rid of my FNAF related delusions/paranoia lol

im interested in dmt but it seems really intense

Hallucinogens is something of a gamble. I would be very cautious about mixing it with delusions and paranoia, like previous poster did.

The good experiences to me was that it relativized things. We tend to overestimate the accuracy of our perception of reality. Hallucinogens makes it very clear that our experiences are subjective, and that none of our senses convey absolute truth.
That realization also had a lingering anti-depressive effect.

I don't think it's fundamentally different to other eye-opening experiences, but it's cheap and low effort.

The bad experiences have been agonizing - think of a warped reality where everything is worse, and at the same time your sense of control is diminished.
You can't do anything but to wait it out, and tell yourself that it's temporary - even though it doesn't feel like it is.
My worst experience was during a depressive episode, but I also have a calm and collected base line. I don't know how someone with more serious conditions might react.

(Talking from experience with LSD, LSA, and 2-CE)

Shrooms are very helpful for me. They make life bearable. I haven't taken them in a long time though. Maybe I'll buy some and microdose... 🤔

LSD was also very fucking fun! I laughed a lot! But please be careful with psychs, they do a lot of good but can also do a lot of bad. Remember the set and the setting and get a trip sitter before tripping. That way if the trip gets too intense you won't be alone.
