Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I need to start making more concrete plan and getting my stuff in order. One of these things however is my property. When I was younger my mom made me buy a car I didn't want. A couple years later the same thing happened with a whole trailer.

The issue is that my dad lives in that trailer. And it can't be under his name since he's undocumented and he has a felony charge. My mom can't have it be under her name either since she's undocumented also. But I don't want him to be kicked out or anything. This trailer is in a trailer park and technically they don't even know he's living there(on paper I'm living in their with roommates).

I just don't know what to do. What would happen to my car and my trailer? Is there a way I could have it be under my dad's name that wouldn't get him deported? I live in the east coast but I can say which state specifically if it's state specific.

Sucks that even before I die I need to be good and plan it out

You may need to get a lawyer for this one specifically estate planning unless you have family in the US that you can leave your property to and you know that they won't kick your parents out.

Everything you own becomes part of your estate when you die, and any/all of it gets distributed to whomever you designate in your will, whether charities or persons. The one caveat is that if you owe any money to creditors, including government entities, they get their share first. Also, all of your death expenses are paid from estate funds. The executor is responsible for distributing the estate assets, or selling them, if need be. This is how it works in the US, anyway.

You do not need a drivers license to own a car. Keep paying the registration and it might be ok after you are gone.
If you own the trailer outright, same thing, pay fees and taxes.
No easy answers, just work arounds.

You don't think it'd be weird that I'd be asking to write my will in my 20s? What even questions would they ask? I don't even know what I'd say :(
Also money :(

Laaaaaame I got debt and I figured it'd be something like that with my debt but still sucks :(

But like would other people keep paying that? Cause it wouldn't be under my name if I'm dead :(

This is just so confusing and is why I didn't wanna be owning shit before I ctb'd, suck

No, I don't think it would be weird at all. Yeah the money part sucks but it seems to not be super straightforward. I did my own will via online and will have people at my bank notarize and witness but I don't have someone living in a place that I own either. If you don't have a will everything goes through probate court. I know because my dad died without one and its a nightmare process.

Bump on this
I don't want to have to be good before I pull the metaphorical trigger but I don't want to fuck over my dad
