what do you do if you handcuffed yourself and your attempt fails?

you can't ask anyone to help, they will likely send you to the mental hospital.

handcuffs = zip ties.

i guess maybe have something very sharp set up firmly so you can cut the zip ties.
like a knife prompted and secured really well onto something. but onto what?

if your hands are in front of you, you can break zip ties by kicking downward on them between your wrists. there's also a method by forcefully bringing your arms toward yourself with your elbows pointed out.. you should look up "how to escape zip ties" and you'll see a lot of self defense related instruction

I am not smart or capable enough of breaking free from handcuffs

I would prob end up in the hospital and try again (without handcuffs) when I get out
