What do the colours mean ?

I have noticed for a while the colours keep changing on my name and writing appears below it as the colours change . I have not been a member that long
What does it mean to be a specialist ?
Can someone explains how this works

The color changes of how many posts you make, rather than how long you have been on SS. Just replying in any thread counts as a post.
It's just a rank name, it's nothing really special.
Also you can change the title to anything you like if you would want that.

There used to be a list on one of the tabs here, number = the colour your name is. I'm a colours / arts geek so I like that stuff. Does anyone know where it's gone?

I remember that, unfortunately I think that content was lost during the previous update. They should make another legend for it somewhere though.

You can still see the legend if you go on your profile and then click on the three little dots in the right hand corner

Specialist is just a fancy status. You can set a custom one somewhere in the options.
Reminds me of an ancient wisdom: Give someone a fish, and he will be fed for a day. Name someone Fed, and he will be Fed all his life.

I wish I could change my color to yellow, light blue or green. I don't like this kind of purple. I like red and pink separately, but not this one.
