Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

waiting in line to ctb

I'm planning to ctb soon.
I want to leave a note.
I do not know what to write in it.
I want to tell the people close to me and that it wasn't their fault, that they shouldn't be sad, but I just can't find words for it.
I am clueless to such a point that I'm writing jokes so I can fill space.

I guess it is a personal thing, what we choose to write about in our notes, and it is hard to get into words I guess. I plan to say in mine the reasons why I have chosen to do this, I will be in a better place and there is nothing you could have done to stop it. I plan to make sure that my note at least covers these three things.

Just remember there are no rules when you write a goodbye note. Maybe you need to write a lot to express all you need to say, or maybe you do it in less than 10 words, and that“s ok. That said, I think it“s good you take the time to say in your note that your familiy and your friends are not responsibliy of your decision.
(Sorry if my english isn“t the best, I“m from South America)

Tell the truth, write what you feel inside, the reason for your choice, and at the end leave something that you think will put a smile on there face, it will not put a smile on there face, as they will be heartbroken, but over time they will speak of the last thing you wrote and if you write somthjng nice it will be comforting for them in a small way,

I'm in the same position as you. Hopefully 2 weeks from now I should CBT, the note will be a issue for me aswell.

I feel the same. I'm actually typing random goodbye notes from time to time. It's like a hobby of mine.
But it's never enough. There's always more to say. Another emotion to cover. Another memory to recollect. Another angle. Another excuse.

Side note:
I write angry notes too. Helps me to let go.

That's what I'm thinking to write in mine too.

Writing notes is such a personal thing... I would echo lots of the other people here and say, just write from the heart and say whatever it is that you feel you need to say. If that means "only" writing down a few sentences, or even includes writing some jokes down as well, then, hell, I don't see why not. But there's no "minimum character limit" for a note like this, of course.

For me personally, I'm writing a long-ass note (it'll probably end up being a short novel, tbh) because I really want to make it clear that this wasn't an impulsive thing, that I've just had nothing but problems with myself and the world straight from the get-go, and that it was a LONG time coming. I guess the goal for my note is for the people who are reading it to at least be able to understand and have some insight as to why I just couldn't keep going anymore. I'm trying to answer any questions that they might have in advance, as I obviously won't be around to answer them once I go.
