Help What crisis lines wont call the police?

I want things to be better but i will, by any means required end everything if the police will show up. Arrested or committed doesn't matter ill die before i do either ever again. Experienced severe abuse as a child in both of those settings and i will never be going back. I just need somewhere it's actually safe to talk about

It's depends where you are. The Samaritans in the UK won't, they don't track your location either - so can't unless you give them your details.

Samaritans in UK will even stay on phone with you while you ctb and while it's happening but will ask periodically if you want to call emergency services.

The UK Samaritans are there for all English speakers, no matter their nationality.

I used the Samaritans once a few years ago, they had a web chat version which was a pilot. Having a chat with them was helpful to me, I even suggested they turn the pilot into a full fledged method of communication as I'm not very good speaking to someone. Chatting to them over the internet was much easier for me.

The thrive text line claims they are down but I haven't tried to text them at this time. They have resources of other alternatives on their website. They only call the police if child abuse is suspected. I haven't called wildflower alliance but I have used their discord server and it's great. I haven't called a warm line and I cannot guarantee they won't call the cops (always check the policy!) but they are peer support based which tends to be preferable.

I wish we had something similar in the US. All we have are police-callers :(

There are darknet chats that have no way of calling police since they don't even have the IP addresses of users, searching for "moderated Tor chatrooms" can help. Tho they are likely peer support and not professionals.

Oh... if u search Aera23 on ahmia, u might get better assistance if I'm in there. If someone states they wish death, I normally ask "what makes you wish death" and chat from there (or PM me or a trusted user here?)
