I have heard of something similar where someone tried shooting themselves missed and killed someone else. I forgot the punishment. Collateral death in suicides is not that rare. So that could happen depending on person's history and country laws.

But if it is real, just based on the other person writing the article having the name of 윤정서 (maybe 윤중서) maybe it was in South Korea and they had someone there helping them cover it?
