Homemade potato crisps baked in the oven! After I cut up my potatoes (usually 2-3 at at time) I put the slices of potato on a baking sheet after dunking them in flour so they don't stick, and cook them at 400 degrees for 35 minutes! When they come out, I put a little garlic salt and pepper on them for seasoning and they turn out so good!

I really enjoy Spanish peanuts as a snack, and nuts in general. I don't exactly have a comfort food, but pierogies with sour cream comes to mind first. I used to make my own chicken fritters when I was still able to cook.

My favorite comfort food is pan fried potatoes with würstel 💜 and my favorite snack is either popcorn or cucumber slightly salted, generally my favorite food to have almost everyday is some form of Buddha bowl since I can change it all the time and always get the right nutrition.. I also have a soft spot for Rosemary roast potatoes, and some good chicken.. I love a lot of foods actually hrm, I love desserts a ton but only if they aren't too sickly sweet

How thick (of the slices) do you make them?

Only a little bit thick, I don't cut them super thin to where they're like potato chips because then they're too crunchy. I like them to be slightly crunchy on the outside, while still having enough thickness to be soft on the inside. I should show you a picture the next time I make them. I'm kinda thinking about making some now actually lol.

I've really been craving esquites / corn in general lately. I made some tonight and it was perfect :)

Occasionally I do get hit with the sudden urge of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I can't eat gluten without stomach issues, so I don't normally buy bread at all. The craving always lasts long enough for me to go out and get some though, unlike most of my others that only stand a couple days.

I also like rosemary roast potatoes, they are rlly tasty. Pan fried potatoes with sausage are also great, quite popular here, but I'm too lazy to make them myself

That's very similar, yes!
One can make them in an oven, or in the pan! steamed, grilled, baked and so on; they're really versatile! [Although it's like, then it's just melting the cheese via numerous method xd] My family often makes them in an oven, but my ancestors used to make them in the pan too, that's also my personal preference as well actually!
As long as they're crunchy and the cheese is not burned but it's melted and runny and warm, then it's all good ^^

I've never tried the oven method, but I think even if I had, I'd always prefer the pan, I make basically everything in a pan. That actually reminds me of the Gordon Ramsay grilled cheese vid, where he used some weird cheeses and they didn't melt at all. Idk if u have seen, but it's pretty funny

Much agreed, it really was funny lmaoo; he kept saying how excellent it is, how great it's going to be and stuff, and in the end that thing didn't even have a cheese pull :hug:;-;
That's what it is like ig when you try some cheeses and they just dont do what you're expecting them to do 😅 Better to just stick to mozarella,Swiss or Chedar rofl

Yeah just made everyone question his cooking skills. Idk, a grilled cheese shouldn't be made with fancy cheeses imo, it's supposed to be simple. Gouda is also pretty good

Agreed, Gouda is very good too! I've had so much Gouda that I kinda didn't have that in a while xD
They're right to question that! but I honestly don't mind, the guy is famous for his shows and his temper; this kinda humbles him if he fails once in a while to make something as simple as that. Maybe he just wanted to show those cheeses off along with that kimchi? xD Except he forgot that it might just NOT melt hahahah - I was kinda weirded out by the fact he is wearing a jacket in-doors, with a fireplace by his side!
The thing is that this is particularly easy to make, there are meals that you can easily fail to make.. and this one wasn't one of those xD

I always use gouda or mozzarella, but I like mozzarella more recently.
Yeah it was kind of a weird mistake to make, but idk, I don't doubt that he's a good cook and tbh I loved watching some of his shows when I was younger. He is definitely very entertaining
