All with depressed/isolated female protagonists because relatability is comforting to me rn lol.

The Lesser Dead by Christopher Buehlman. One of my favorite authors. Clear, direct, well-flowing prose and one of the best author's at writing tension. Would also recommend his horror-medieval fantasy Between Two Fires and his fantasy series The Blacktongue Thief

I'm rereading/listening to some books that were really meaningful to me when I was younger. Robin Hobb's Soldier Son and Farseer books, and the Simon Snow trilogy by Rainbow Rowell. I may go back and read In Other Lands by Sara Rees Brennan as well. All of these books are so good and so meaningful to me and I get new experiences, perspectives, and messages every time I go back to any of them. I love books that grow and change with me.

Still working my way through Pynchon's Against the Day. Apart from that, I've been reading Farm to Factory by Robert Allen. It's about Soviet industrial development. Dry as shit, but fascinating. A good resource for Marxists and people who just want to learn about the economics of the USSR.
