  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Mine are dry mouth and weight gain. I'm going to counter the weight gain by hitting the gym. Gonna start tomorrow. Haven't been to the gym in ages.

I welcome the weight gain with my meds actually... So probably just the restlessness, nervous, groggy / drowsy side I hate. Gives me bad RLS too,. Hate that shit.

I cured my restless leg syndrome by reducing my caffeine intake.

you probably dont want to know mine. i never had any "minor" side effects. im apparently too sensitive for the medications so take mine with a grain of salt.
on one of them he longer i was on the closer i was to killing myself, i just couldnt handle the thoughts or anything.
another one made me sleep for 15-20hrs
and the third one gave me a really bad gas bubble and an extremely bad headache so i basically laid there curled up in a ball for the day.
needless to say the second one didnt last more then 2 days and the third one didnt last more then one lol

I get RLS symptoms if I stay up for too long and my eyes kinda spasm a bit, but the worst is the night sweats. I have to do so much laundry because I'm constantly sweating through my clothes & sheets :mmm:

I can echo what others have said - weight gain, RLS, decrease in sexual interest.
There are times I have gone off my meds, and those seem to have worse withdrawal effects - insomnia, muscle pain, mood swings - things I never had before going on SSRIs in the first place. Seems kind of unfair.

Until I had the dosage lowered I was in full "don't give a shit" mode. Bills not being paid, food not being cooked, just staring at tv. Now it's just hard to have any real desire. Interest in sex is next to nil and when I do work out (note to self: get going again!) I'm not in the intensity zone I used to be. That makes it harder to push my weights and motivation to keep going.

Dizziness. So bad I don't want to go outside sometimes. Lately, taking both anti-anxiety meds and sleeping pills, I'll get a throbbing pain on the upper left side of my head in the middle of the night. God only knows what long term brain damage I'm probably developing from trying to keep my mind stable.

Lithium gave me a neurological disorder, Seroquel made me sleep 15+ hours a day, Abilify made me aggressive. Out of the thirteen psychiatric medications I've taken, half made me gain weight or increased my appetite. And for what? Minimal improvements or none at all!
