I'm just wondering, what are the downsides of SN? I've read a few posts about people claiming it isn't a peaceful death, but many more saying the worst you will feel is dizziness and confusion, and you will pass out after 40 minutes max.

Vomiting. Not the easiest (anymore) to get. Need other meds to make it work best, and some of them can be difficult for some people to get. Four hours of "alone" time is recommended for certainty. It can be reversed if found early. There may be more "downsides".

Quick one… do we know 4 hours is enough? Think I'll have like 7-8 if I'm lucky
Well if I ever get my sn that is

From what I read on here it's not all that pleasant. Exit bags are better, IMO.

But they're more technical to implement.

I often wonder if people buy sodium nitrate online then why not go a little further and use a iv cannula or a needle?

Why do people have such preference with oral even if you miss a vein the SN with be absorbed intra muscular and still quicker that throw the stomach and even if you threw up the SN wouldn't come up.

Is it just a fear of needles

Im gonna say, because you would basically need an IV drip for all that powder, and then access to the vein becomes a lot harder.

would advise a little caution - if you miss a vein it might not get absorbed into the muscle/ the body for a long time....the drug will initially just sit under the skin until slowly absorbed. high chance it will hurt like a x too. injecting into a muscle the needle is held at 90 degrees so can pass all the layers of dermis whereas iv is quite shallow. about an inch difference . saying all that- you could be right but its risky

This. Been trying to choose either SN or ctb via rail but this thought is absolutely terrifying. Maybe alcohol would help

That's the number recommended. If you have 7 or 8 hours, you should be golden (if all else goes well).

Yeah that's true but honestly the complexity is also not *that* big. You basically only need to learn how to hook up some things to a gas cannister. It's not something one just cannot learn, no matter how unhandy. I mean, I understand that many people who wanna do this are depressed and when you're depressed you're not exactly full of energy to do stuff and drinking some water with some powder sounds simpler then but on the other hand, this is the last thing you're gonna do, might as well invest some energy and thought into it. And it's really not that complex either. The parts you need are also not restricted, in any way. You'll always be able to buy them. Nobody's gonna ask questions. No welfare checks either because by the amount such parts are bought by private for all kinds of reasons, that'd tie up the entire police force. And it's defintively still simpler than IVs or jumping in front of a train (while the action itself might be simple, working yourself up to actually do it can't be, I can't believe it) and a plethora of other very unlikely methods which are being brought up on this forum every day. I mean, elderly people dying of cancer manage to do the exit bag.

Poisoning yourself and feeling the poison work until you die of the poison just sounds very unpleasant for me. With the exit bag, you more or less just pass out and don't wake up again.

The taste
The need for sedatives in order for it to be peaceful

And that's it. Apparently it's the best non-violent and most convenient solution this side of N.
