Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What are some users from this forum, who have now passed away, that you've formed cherished memories with? Any funny stories? I think there should be a memorial thread somewhere, where people can post memories and goodbye messages to users that have passed away, kind of like an online obituary.

I dont know anyone here, but I really like the posts, Don't be afraid of death and Ways of making peace with dying, which were written by 2 different users who I assumed ctb. I often reread those posts and I just wanted to mention them.

I miss my friend FTL.Wanderer, one of the few persons in this life who didn't dislike me for no reason, who cared for me and made me feel safe, he was like a pillar of support for me. I was always looking forward to see his messages, my favorite part of the day. Such a kind, soft, thoughtful and smart person. I can't describe enough in words how wonderful he was. An angel that the world didn't deserve. Wish I talked more with him before his passing. To this day I still miss him, but I find solace in the fact that he's no longer suffering.

I miss everyone. Even if I didn't 'know' them or ever even talk to them, I do know what it's like to feel as cornered & desperate as they were, and no human being deserves to be placed in such a predicament, ever.
It's profoundly depressing & I wish there were some other answer to their suffering and that they could continue to be here with us, but I don't know what that answer is. For me personally I've tried every avenue available to me and it has failed, so it's not as though I know of anything that could've remedied their unique circumstances. I think life just corners a lot of people, and when we reach out for help we're cornered even more. It's a catch-22.

There was a user here called @MeltingHeart that I will never forget. She was so warm and funny. She was just a radiant person. She always lifted the group. We weren't close but we were active in chat at the same time. I'll never forget when she left. I've never cried more for another member. I've stood by as a virtual witness to a few people in the process of going and it's life-changing. We can't underestimate how big of a decision it is for ourselves and for the people we see go. I'm such a sensitive person that I never forget the person on the otherside of the username. It can be hard.

@Cheers
She seemed like such a fun person to hangout with ;)
@91Days
Isn't he the one who made the news of a man ctbing in a hotel room with the exit bag method? I always thought he was cool. I really wish i had more opportunities to talk to him.
