• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does your weight help with CTB success when jumping? I am over weight so I thought I shouldn't worry that much about height (I am thinking of jumping from a 12th floor)

I read a story about a woman who jumped with her baby, the woman died, the baby survived.
Whatever you do, research everything so u can make proper decisions

One of physics' famous discoveries was Newton finding that all objects fall at the same rate under gravity. So weight doesn't have an effect.

The only thing that has an effect is air resistance which can slow you down, and you will probably have more of that if you're body is bigger, sorry about that :notsure:

It isn't that heavier objects (including human bodies) fall faster, it's that their momentum is greater. If you're talking hanging, that means the heavier you are, the more force will be exerted on your head and neck when the rope pulls you up short. It's an important calculation, since the length of a drop that will instantly (and theoretically painlessly) separate one person's brain from their spinal cord, thus bringing a speedy end to both consciousness and life, might cause a lighter person to slowly strangle, and a heavier one to be decapitated entirely.
