• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

That is an entirely appropriate metaphor for life although I would make a loop between work and family and add empty consumerism, pop-culture etcetera.

When returning from work I had a similar thought: what is there to achieve in life really? It's always chasing after the next satisfaction, the next high and it doesn't lead to anything but the grave.

You sir/madam have a philosophical mind. It's both a blessing and a curse imo.

All of life is based around getting energy. It's natural for us to die, maintaining life is actually what maintains effort. So we always find ourselves in a state of striving that will never end until we're dead.

And plus, once you reach the top of the mountain, you find out pretty quick that there's nothing there.

True. And yet there is beauty in this world. This for example: . I believe this is what Nietzsche meant when he wrote "We have art so as not to die of the truth".
