What your talking about isn't alcohol, it's chloroform.I do not know if it really works, I always see it in movies, but you can try. Basically grab a cloth, a towel or something, throw alcohol and inhale, something like suffocating with it. If you'll excuse me, why do you want to do this? Want to talk about something?
How long were you blacked out for?I have passed out in a lot of ways, but the easiest for me was to:
Be standing,
Bend over, like a bow,
Hyperventilate (take quick short breaths) for 30 seconds
Stand up straight, quickly
Once straight up, squeeze neck. (place the lower palm of either hand next to the wind pipe and just under the jaw, wrap fingers around the sides and back of the neck to either side. Squeeze.)
Exhale through pursed lips.
The standing up right, squeezing, and starting to exhale have to be done very very quickly.
After a couple seconds it should feel like standing up too quickly. A couple more seconds to full black out.
Ethanol can't be "huffed", isopropanol can. And Isopropanol is less toxic for the body than ethanol. Isopropanol metabolize in acetona, ethanol metabolize in acethaldeydeThe inhaled alcohol acts like an anesthetic and causes you to pass out. You would not want to use Methanol or Isopropanol both are toxic and could cause damage to your system. SadGirl is correct, you would soak a cloth, place it over your mouth and nose and inhaled deeply. Not an easy thing to do.
You are right that ethanol can't really be huffed. However, isopropyl otherwise known as rubbing alcohol is extremely toxic. People who don't know better have tried ingesting it in the hopes that it'll disinfect them from covid but many have died from this. It irritates tissues and beaks down into formaldehyde, which is used to embalm bodies. You can vaporize alcohol with a pump and a bottle and then breath it in, I have tried this and personally saw few effects but some people swear by it. Also you can actually purchase Ether online easily and cheaply. It was once used as a powerful anesthetic so it could be worth looking into.Ethanol can't be "huffed", isopropanol can. Isopropanol is safer than ethanol even not considered, but sure far less dangerous than methanol and so on. Isopropanol breaks down into acetone, formaldehyde occur with ethanol.
I'm struggling with that same problem, I think I'll just try and try until it's done. I can't see another way. Maybe I going to buy a hotel daily room in a tall building and jump.I can't pass out via partial suspension as well, I just get a pounding, strange headache after a while and my body instinctively sits up. I think for some people this may not be the best method, so I'm planning something else.
