I would want to know if there are so many different things that can be addressed, how is your application different. How many instances has this been used for your situation. What success rate has been found.
I would assume that the Vagus nerve is actually a bundle of nerves. How do they know which ones to stimulate. Since nerve cells are not repairable, I would ask how many are damaged in the process and if that causes some sort of permanent damage.
In the german wikipedia artical the longterm rosponder rate is 50%, in the english one I cannot find any numbers. I met one person years ago which was quite happy with his vns.
