Hi guys just a warning I got shopped to old bill today after meeting someone on partners was meant to be CTB today with them. Then the police showed up saying it was reported from a social media site. I don't put anything on social media I only have FB and would never post anything on that as that would be self defeating. It could only be from the member I met on here as nothing was posted on forum about dates nobody knew it was today except me and him. Be careful who you speak to and trust. Due to this police turned up at my exes house and the mother of my child making my problems if possible ten times worse I thought this was a safe place. It's not

That is something that should not happen to anyone in this room. I have become leery of a lot of people in here. Honestly there was alarm bells ringing this morning when he said could not drive down as they put him in psych ward for getting in car I had already purchased supplies n such forth etc. They will not section you for getting the car he knew where I was etc and I get a message from my ex saying wtf bloody police just turned up for looking for you etc then also went to other addresses of the few people I even have left I mean it's almost unreal I did not things could get worse I was set today felt some peace then all that. He kept messaging saying maybe we can help each other I said I'm really glad you have some hope and didn't do anything you weren't sure of etc, but I have mind made up on my choices. It's just so low we spoke on phone quote regular etc. I was set today I was set to go and now the police have been everywhere they had to come and see me too. It was all fucked anyway but now all this drama the few people i still cared about getting police turning up. Just don't get why people do this. Sorry rant over lol. Is there a way to message admin directly to let them know the name? Does it matter I guess its easy to just set up another fake account?

I think you should report the person to the mods @Marquis @RainAndSadness they can ban the account but I think they will also do a deeper ban to block the IP addy

Next time take your time getting to know them. Use alt emails and spoof text numbers. Then figure out how to meet at a neutral location. Don't even send them pix or tell them how you look. You will eventually get some red flags if you give it enough time for them to expose themselves. No personal addresses, etc.

How did LE find your friends and families addresses? Was it from stuff you disclosed to your ctb partner or did they find it through ip and fb profile info?

Please report that member so we can take a look at this case. Some other members already gave excellent advise and I also recommend to protect yourself at any costs. If you meet up with someone from this forum - doesn't matter what's the intention - always keep it in a public place and make sure you get to know that person. Only share information that you're comfortable sharing. I've met someone from this forum and we did it in a city. In my case, everything went well and we had an amazing talk together. It was relieving and one of the best social experiences I've ever had. If I wanted to meet up with someone for the purpose to ctb together, I'd definitely do the same - talk with them and meet them in person to make sure it's a real person with sincere intentions. That's very important. Your safety comes always first.

Yes have reported him now. Never sent pics was going to of the charcoal and all that but said he only had a basic Nokia and couldn't get pics yet.....managed to be on this website another thing that just did not add up

He knew i had gone to the place I went my ex gfs house but I had only said the name of the town not any exact location, but I am on file from previous attempt at that address so I guess that's why they turned up there. They also went to the mother of my daughters house this confuses me immensely why they went there I haven't spoke to her in long time and she doesn't allow me to see my little girl I don't even know her exact address myself and have never been around there. So very very confused on why or how they turned up at her house. They had my phone number also so it had to be this person

I feel like there is definitely some fake accounts on here and I do get suspicious with some posts but I didn't realise that the police might be monitoring this site too. It's a little worrying. I don't want police at my door again.

Whoa, do you still have the documentation? I'd really like to read it. I've been wondering how prevalent this site is outside of the niche groups that use or are fighting against it. It always struck me as being a fairly unknown thing to most "normal" people or even most public entities like political groups and hospitals, etc.

@OP I'm sorry you had to experience this. I had to learn the hard way a few years back that no matter how many precautions you think you are using, it is incredibly easy (especially for people who have no lives outside of catfishing others hardcore) to be manipulated or scammed online. A pact would probably be greatly beneficial to many of the lonely people here who don't want to die alone as well, but there's just no real way to know someone else's intentions. It's a big part of why most people will forgo finding a partner. :(

Completely I can't get my head around the fact people do this to people already in a bad place, I know it's put me off for sure from finding a partner to ctb with again or even when I do it alone now of posting on here to discuss and at least have some conversation with people whilst ctb as if being monitored and they now have all my details due to this happening if police would show or find out etc

Yeah, it is scary. Well the first time, It was a quite a long time ago, I was in a bad place and had homicidal thoughts as well as suicidal. I decided to use this online helpline thing, assumed it was confidential. Talked to them about some things and the bad thoughts I was having. I felt I said too much so I exited and didn't think much of it. The next day an officer turned up and told me he was concerned for my welfare. But he was nice, we talked about it for a while and he told me I should talk to the psych I was seeing at the time and you know, made sure I was ok and wouldn't do anything and then left. The second time was a couple of years later. I was in hospital after overdosing, I went at 11pm and was still there at 6am. I couldn't wait any longer so I snuck out and ran home because I wanted to be in the house before anyone noticed. I wasn't thinking straight, forgot that they knew my details, didn't think anything was going to happen. Around an hour later, an officer was at my house. We talked and I explained. He was very understanding and understood why I left. He made sure I was ok mentally and physically before giving me some advice and leaving. I know not all the police are the same and a lot of people dislike them, but the officers I dealt with were really good to me. They didn't just brush me off, they actually listened to me and talked to me, they didn't judge me, they made sure I was okay.
